Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I downgraded to Windows 7 in order to use automotive diagnostic software....Was able to install everything except usb driver. Been trying for days now using different drivers with no luck... hardware is intel usb 3.0 extensible host controller.

I went to their website and they had two driver packages for win 7...neither did the trick...

Any help would be appreciated....

Hi:

If your notebook has an Intel processor and chipset, this driver should work.

Download, unzip and run the setup application from the driver at the link below.

If your notebook has an AMD processor and chipset, the 1st driver at the link below should work. Install and restart the PC.

Thanks for your help.

I get a error message during install saying my hardware does not support the software.

Got the msg for both drivers.

I have dual boot installed now with booting into 7 with usb issues. Wifi works and none of the driver support softwares like slim driver will pick up the hardware to offer a driver.....everything works fine under windows 10...its frustrating

What is the full model number or product number of your notebook?

The product number can be found on the same label as the serial number.

Also, please post the hardware ID of the USB controller needing the driver.
