With the rise of the internet and online shopping, more people than ever before are starting their own online business. If you fancy yourself an entrepreneur, selling products online is one of the most accessible ways to launch and run your own business. In fact, literally thousands of people are doing so, right from the comfort of their own home.
This is known as eCommerce, and WordPress is the perfect platform for launching an eCommerce venture. Why? Well that's largely down to the huge collection of dedicated eCommerce themes, some of which I'll be introducing you to today. Perhaps more than this, it's because of one fantastic eCommerce plugin in particular: WooCommerce.
WooCommerce allows you to effortless convert a website into a selling machine. For a start, you can add stunning product pages to your site, displaying product images, descriptions, specifications, and prices. Visitors to your website can then add these products to a virtual shopping cart, and, when they're ready, head over to the checkout page to make their payment. All this might sound incredibly technical, but because of WooCommerce it's surprisingly easy. Even inexperienced WordPress users should have very few problems adding eCommerce functionality to their website thanks to the intuitive WooCommerce plugin.
I know what you're probably thinking: get me WooCommerce now! Well, if you want WooCommerce, it's available here. Before that, though, you need a WordPress theme that integrates well with WooCommerce. That's what today's list is for: to introduce you to 37 of the best, free eCommerce themes, all fully compatible with WooCommerce.
Leto
Sometimes, you just need free, simple WordPress themes to make your life easier. The Leto WordPress theme offers excellent eCommerce tools, free of charge and with a beautiful shopping cart configuration. It's a clean and modern layout with a large header image for displaying your promotions and other deals. The Leto WordPress theme is compatible with WooCommerce, making it great for just about any type of shop. As mentioned, the header media allows for you to show off a large header image. You even have the option to reveal a video that explains your product or company. When you go into the theme options you'll start to notice just how many customization tools are available. For instance, you can change around colors, typography, fonts, and more. For those familiar with WordPress, you'll enjoy that all of these options are available in the default WordPress customizer. Therefore, you won't have to go searching around to adjust your settings after installing the theme. Leto also provides several widgets for developing your entire homepage. This is great for eCommerce sites, since you can move them around with ease and add media and banners.
One of the ways to use widgets is by sharing a gallery of all of your products. This way, people know what you sell right from the start and can click through from your homepage. Along with that, the Leto theme offers a selection of Google Fonts that can be switched from the WordPress customizer. This is completely free access to the Google Fonts, which often is only available if you pay for a premium WordPress theme. Another reason to consider the Leto theme is because of the built-in translation tools. It basically allows you to turn your site into a translation-ready interface, where you can translate the pages yourself or you can have your users do it. Some other benefits of the Leto theme include the fast support from AThemes, constant updates, and the live customizer. Overall, it's a simple, yet stunning theme made for small to large-sized eCommerce businesses. It doesn't matter if you sell shoes or electronics, because the branding is done completely by you. There's no need to constrain yourself and worry about specific colors from a theme that might not fit. It's a winner all around.
TheShop
TheShop is a gorgeous eCommerce theme, designed to help you sell more. Its stylish, minimalist design makes it the perfect theme to showcase your products and drive more sales. Impressive homepage features include a stunning image slider, a product carousel, and the ability to link directly to product categories. This makes it super-easy for your visitors to navigate your website, plus the image-heavy design will instantly switch visitors into buying mode.
TheShop also ships with an impressive range of customization options and design styles. For a start, you can change the color for every element of your website – which can be previewed in real-time using the intuitive WordPress Customizer. There are also over 600 Google fonts, a dedicated homepage template (as seen in the demo), and the opportunity to bolt a blog section onto your eCommerce store.
Shop Isle
The Shop Isle WordPress theme provides a a beautiful free layout for eCommerce store owners looking for a more visual approach to online selling. The theme is based on Bootstrap, and it's meant to work well with the WooCommerce plugin. This way, you don't have to spend much time formatting, connecting a payment gateway or getting your products up and running for the big launch. Overall, the theme is pretty flexible for having no price tag. You can construct a onepage website with Shop Isle, and the fullscreen image is sure to convince people to buy from your store. The parallax effect is something you rarely see on free themes, so it's worthwhile checking out Shop Isle to see if a parallax effect is what your business needs. We recommend placing a call to action or a bit of text over your parallax background to make it stand out.
The responsive theme mimics what you would see on a regular mobile app. For example, if someone opens your blog on a tablet or phone they'll see that the visuals and text items are all going to snap into place for the ideal viewing on mobile devices. Several third party plugins work with the theme as well. For example, the following plugins have been tested and are ready to be installed with the Shop Isle theme: Photo Gallery Grid, Contact Form 7, Meta Slider, SiteOrigin Page Builder and JetPack. Along with the search engine tools, and the minimum and elegant style, the Shop Isle WordPress theme is one of the top options to go with if you're thinking about making an online store. Your best bet is to consider the Shop Isle theme if you're thinking about selling clothing, jewelry, or something where the images truly make a difference. With the large header and professional grid-based galleries on the homepage, you shouldn't have any problem attracting customers.
Zigcy Lite
The Zigcy Lite theme was built entirely on Customizer which means you will have no problems getting your online store to look exactly the way you want. Not only can you customize the colors and the fonts but you can also create a beautiful and completely custom homepage that showcases your best and most popular products. The theme also comes with beautiful and personalized checkout pages so you can improve your checkout conversion rates.
The theme has a deep integration with WooCommerce so you will benefit from features such as the ability to search products and content, a call to action section that invites visitors to check out the latest products, multiple post and page layouts and more. The Zigcy Lite theme is also fully responsive and comes with a gorgeous slider which is perfect for promoting special deals in your store. On top of that, the theme is easy to use and optimized to load fast.
Ecommerce Gem
The Ecommerce Gem theme delivers some color and style to your online store, using a header image on the homepage and a banner towards the top for showing information like social media buttons, the shopping cart icons, and contact details. This is a multipurpose theme that works well with WooCommerce. In fact, it's been made to integrate with WooCommerce so that you won't have any problems along the way. Simply install the plugin and the Ecommerce Gem theme and you'll have a full online store with a checkout and shopping cart. One of the benefits of going with the Ecommerce Gem theme is that it comes with a product search combined with a category selection tool. You can also add multiple sections on the homepage, along with banners for your promotions. The multipurpose nature of the theme means that it runs well for just about any type of business. You might use it to sell jewelry or clothing, or maybe you need it for a digital agency or your blog store.
The Ecommerce Gem theme does come as a free download. However, you have the option to upgrade to the premium version if you enjoy it and would like more features. In addition to that, the theme provides a responsive design, which is absolutely necessary in today's eCommerce world. Lots of people purchase items from mobile phones and tablets, so you would be silly to forget about those customers. Furthermore, the Ecommerce Gem theme includes an easy to customize product carousel. This way, you have the opportunity to feature some of your products towards the top of your page or somewhere on the homepage. The drag and drop widgetized homepage sections are quite helpful as well. These make your design process a little bit easier, since you don't have to worry about coding or hiring a developer. Along with that, you receive some social link settings, a full-width slider, and a widget section in the footer. For $0 it's an excellent deal, and if you decide that it's the perfect theme for your store then you can decide to upgrade.
Estore
The Estore WordPress theme comes from the developers at ThemeGrill. It's a sleek theme that you can download for free for any new eCommerce store. It also offers a premium version for $69 if you're ready to take your store to the next level. What's cool about the Estore theme is that it's compatible with both WooCommerce and YITH WooCommerce Wishlist plugins. Therefore, you not only have the option to generate a complete eCommerce shop, but you can give your customers the chance to make their own wishlists online. It seems like this combination will make it much easier to sell your products, since customers can remember their wishlist items and have the incentive to come back to your store. Another benefit of the Estore theme is that it comes with the Collection WooCommerce template. This gem helps you configure categories and collections, listing them on a single page without any problems.
You'll also get a beautiful, responsive design, making it effective on all mobile devices. Along with that, the Estore theme delivers on category colors, since you choose from a wide range of colors to brand your websites and make things more lively. The theme offers over 10 widget areas to fit all of your content, and it also has 12 custom widgets from category lists to metadata. Keep in mind, the free version has the 12 widgets, and the pro version offers even more than this. The pro version also has advanced typography, delivering over 600 Google Fonts for the ultimate selection. Along with that, you receive everything from primary color options to the Awesome Slider. I also like the footer editor, which is great for sharing copyright information and customizing this small section a little easier. Add demo content, custom CSS, and lots of documentation to the list and you have a wonderful theme for all sizes of eCommerce stores.
Vantage
Next up we have Vantage, a beautiful, feature-rich eCommerce theme, developed by SiteOrigin. The homepage looks great with a full-width slider, beautiful icons, and bold headline text. For a free theme, Vantage offers a lot of functionality — including some features usually reserved for premium themes. This is achieved through seamless integration with some of the best free plugins on the market today. You can build your image slider with MetaSlider, your layout with the drag-and-drop Page Builder, and you can, of course, sell products from your website courtesy of WooCommerce.
Because of the close integration with Page Builder, you have complete freedom to make your site your own, and this means it can be used in a wide variety of niches. In my opinion, though, Vantage is the perfect theme for a business website or a professional blog.
Artificer
Another stunning theme by WooThemes, Artificer is a stylish, elegant WordPress theme, targeted at upmarket boutique-style eCommerce stores like jewelers — as can be seen in the demo. The theme supports 11 different color schemes, giving you the flexibility to create a website that fits with your brand. There's also lots of cool functionality built in, including a timeline view, quirky image galleries, and a related posts widget.
Of course, Artificer's main purpose is to sell. You can build simple, stylish product pages to really show off your products, and the tight integration with WooCommerce means your online shop is really easy to navigate. The header also includes quick basket and checkout buttons, so visitors can buy from you with minimal fuss. The theme is cleanly coded, fully responsive, and perfect for anyone looking to launch a stunning, chic store.
RestImpo
Personally, I'm a big fan of this one: the stunning RestImpo theme, with its beautifully minimal design. The theme would probably work best for corporate websites, but with full integration with WooCommerce, you can create elegant eCommerce stores, too.
For a free theme, RestImpo supports lots of customization options. This includes six color schemes, over 200 Google fonts, and a choice between one- and two-column layouts. The theme was developed with usability in mind, and it's super easy to add your own logo, favicon, and a stunning full-width homepage header image — less experienced WordPress users will really appreciate this. It's a really smart-looking theme, plus it's fully responsive so users on all devices can appreciate the design.
SKT Biz
Now onto SKT Biz, a beautiful, professional WordPress theme that would suit a business or corporate blog perfectly. It comes with a fixed, blue color scheme — which might rule it out for some businesses. If you can work with blue, though, it's definitely worth a closer look. The theme uses a clean, boxed layout which really conveys a professional tone to visitors, especially when coupled with the aforementioned blue color scheme. The homepage supports a beautiful image slider — the free version of the theme lets you add up to five slides. You can also overlay text on your images, so you can get your important messages across to visitors.
The SKT Biz theme is well coded, fully responsive, and also supports multi-level navigation. Despite being primarily a blogging theme, you can seamlessly integrate WooCommerce alongside it, allowing you to add eCommerce functionality to your website.
Intuition
Intuition is a beautiful, elegant, free theme, with a lot of versatility. It could easily be used for any type of business website, albeit one with a much softer feel to it. For those of you looking to build a website that fits your brand image — hint: that should be everyone — Intuition supports a good range of customization options. For a start, you can pick your color scheme from an infinite selection of colors, all at the touch of a button. The theme also supports a variety of layout options: this includes five sidebar layouts, with up to two separate sidebars available per page, displayed on either side of the screen. Want more? Intuition also gives you a choice of over 100 of Google's finest fonts. There's also a gorgeous image slider available for the homepage, allowing you to add a bit more color and beautiful imagery to your page.
Of course, Intuition's inclusion in this list already tells you that it's fully compatible with WooCommerce. Beyond that, though, the theme is also compatible with the Easy Digital Downloads plugin, which gives you the ideal platform for selling digital products. A really fantastic theme, you'll struggle to find many free, WooCommerce-compatible themes better than Intuition.
AyoShop
On we go to AyoShop; a gorgeous, simplistic, specialist eCommerce theme. A word of caution: although AyoShop is a free child theme, it will require the premium Genesis Framework for you to run it. If you already have that, or you like AyoShop so much you go out and buy it, this theme is a really good option.
The theme uses a beautiful, clean design with lots of white space. It's versatile enough to be used by online shops in a wide range of niches. You can customize the theme to fit your brand image with a choice of unlimited colors — you can view your changes as you make them thanks to a live preview feature. The theme is lightweight and bloat-free, utilizes a responsive design, and can be integrated seamlessly with WooCommerce. It also comes with extensive documentation to help less experienced WordPress users get the most from their new theme.
EightStore Lite
If you take a look at the EightStore theme you'll notice quite a few interesting frontend features that you can't find anywhere else. First of all, it's a rather visual interface, with large headers, sliders and thumbnail images and links. You can link to a wide variety of your pages and categorize your eCommerce store for better navigation. We also like this because the best online stores have beautiful banner ads when holding promotions and events. Therefore, you have the chance to do all of this with the simplicity of a free eCommerce theme. The EightStore option goes along well with the WooCommerce plugin, making it useful for those who are familiar. Not to worry if you've never utilized the WooCommerce plugin, because it's pretty easy to get your products online and selling. In fact, much of the work is done by the plugin and payment processor.
The beautiful design has a configurable homepage and slider. Use the slider to show off your new products and talk about what the site does for its customers. the product slider is one of the standout features because you have the ability to cram in a bunch of your products for display. Therefore, when your customers stop by they can scroll through the selection and click on the items they want to see more of. Testimonials are available for showing people how credible your company is, while the fully responsive interface is bound to help users out when viewing on smaller devices. One thing to consider is that the translation files are useful for expanding your brand to other parts of the world. Along with bbPress functionality, typography options and more, the EightStore WordPress theme has some powerful features for you to test out.
Klasik
The Klasik Framework is a visually stunning, minimal starter theme, which can be used for a wide variety of purposes. Klasik allows you to add lots of beautiful visual elements to your page, with a gorgeous full-width slider, pretty image galleries, and an attention-demanding parallax effect.
Customization is King with Klasik, and the theme includes an impressive six widget areas, in which you can add one of the 12 out-the-box custom widgets the theme supports. These custom widgets include latest news, social sharing buttons, and calendar events. However, my favorite thing about Klasik is undoubtedly the clean, minimalist design — the theme is completely clutter-free. Klasik is coded to the highest standards and can be fully integrated with WooCommerce, allowing you to sell things directly from your website.
Make
Wow, wow, wow! What else can be said about Make, with its beautifully elegant design, impressive list of functionality, and the ability to integrate with loads of WordPress' most popular plugins — including WooCommerce, Gravity Forms, and Jetpack. Make is versatile enough to be used for a variety of purposes, including a blog, portfolio site, or (my personal preferred usage) as a business site.
You can build your own custom layout for your pages thanks to Make's intuitive drag-and-drop page builder functionality. There's also 110 different customization options, including unlimited colors, over 600 Google fonts, and custom backgrounds. Make is exceptionally well coded, and is used by many of the top names in the blogosphere, including ChrisLema.com. Make is highly recommended, and would be a great theme to power a professional eCommerce store.
NanoShop Lite
If you're looking for the best way to sell technological or scientific products, NanoShop Lite fits the bill perfectly. NanoShop is a lovely, lightweight theme, which incorporates responsive design, SEO best practices, and multi-lingual capability.
The theme looks great with an eye-catching image slider, stylish image galleries, and a distinct blue color scheme. It also supports two layouts: you can switch between full-width and boxed at the click of a button. The theme's main selling point is its compatibility with WooCommerce — the theme demo is clearly set up with this eCommerce functionality in mind. You can use NanoShop Lite to create beautiful product pages, complete with social sharing buttons. A really great theme for anyone looking to sell products using a clean, modern design.
AccessPress Store
The AccessPress Store WordPress theme delivers a pretty simple layout, but you also receive support for a beautiful slider with high resolution images. The slider includes overlaying text and buttons to create a sales funnel and push people to places that are going to boost your profits into the future. As with some of the other options on this list, AccessPress Store is a highly visual free solution, with banners, product sliders and links that lead to other places throughout your website. WooCommerce combines well with the theme, allowing you the ability to create your own products, collect payments and pump out a decent amount of coupons that keep people coming back to your store. We like the advanced wishlist functionality, considering it's an incredible way for users to think about what they want to buy in the future.
Certain tags can be placed on some of your product listings. For example, you can have a New or Sale tag to indicate that users should click on those first. The featured product show is fairly simple to setup, where you take a few of the products you sell the most and select them to go in the primary list. Not many eCommerce stores are going to pass up functionality like this, so we recommend taking a look at the AccessPress Store WordPress theme to get a taste of what a real online store should look like. Even if you don't go with this option if can give you some good ideas for your actual store.
SaleJunction
Next up we have SaleJunction, a fantastic WooCommerce-compatible WordPress theme for selling digital and physical products. This free version of the theme uses a stylish orange color scheme, with the homepage featuring a prominent full-width image slider.
The theme lets you blog alongside your eCommerce store, too, with the blog area utilizing a clean, simple layout — you can promote your blog content by featuring your latest posts in a multi-column grid on the homepage. There's also a sidebar on the right of the screen, which can be used to add custom widgets to boost your site's functionality. A relatively simple theme, SaleJunction offers a nice, uncluttered platform to sell from.
Base WP
Next we have Base WP, a clean, minimal blogging theme that's WooCommerce compatible, allowing you to bolt an eCommerce store onto your website. The theme's simplicity is its biggest strength, with a modern design and lots of white space that ensures your content and products take center stage.
As well as this, Base WP is simply a brilliantly well-coded theme. It's cross-browser compatible, multilingual, retina-ready, SEO optimized, and fully responsive. This means that whoever your visitors are, they'll be able to view your website in all its glory. A nice, stylish theme that would really work for anyone looking to combine a blog and eCommerce store.
Llorix One Lite
The Llorix One theme offers a more professional vibe, using lots of white space and an intriguing list of services. We like it for companies that are trying to sell both services and products, considering you can implement a beautiful slider at the top, talk about your services (with corresponding icons,) and place a full store right below all of that information. As you can already see, the theme is completely free, but you do have the option to upgrade to a more premium option for a price. We like these setups because if you really like a theme you can upgrade to get more features. The elegant responsive layout works well on all mobile devices, and the one page design keeps most of the attention in one area.
A customizable ribbon comes in handy for announcements and sales, while the parallax scrolling is bound to grab attention and get people to move onto other parts of the website. For example, you may have a certain product you'd like to sell on a landing page. If this is the case, go with an overlaying button and text to have a solid call to action that yields results. A full blog goes along with the theme for sharing with customers and boosting your SEO. You can integrate the theme with WooCommerce to show a bunch of your products on a separate page. Along with latest news modules, an embedded map and social media buttons, the Llorix One feature set is a rather impressive one.
Virtue
The awesome eCommerce themes come thick and fast, with possibly my favorite of the bunch up next: Virtue, built by developers Kadence Themes. Why do I like Virtue so much? For a start, it's super versatile so it can be used for a variety of purposes, but, for a free theme, it also comes packed with customization options and functionality — the kind of which you'd usually find only in a premium theme. The theme uses a beautifully clean, modern, responsive design. This includes a gorgeous image slider, a stylish image carousel, and, further down the page, a blogroll with large featured images. This makes it a great theme for anyone looking to build an image-rich website.
The theme also supports a solid range of functionality, right out-the-box. This includes social sharing buttons, contact cards, and a stylish portfolio gallery, complete with hover effect. Best of all, Virtue works brilliantly with WooCommerce. The theme comes with a stylish product gallery view, and a beautiful product page layout — complete with images, descriptions, and even related product links. A really strong eCommerce theme, I highly recommend you check Virtue out.
MaxStore
The MaxStore WordPress theme has a modern and exciting design, along with the ability to integrate with WooCommerce. In fact, it's made just for WooCommerce, so your products show up in beautiful galleries on the homepage and the checkout is better than most other free eCommerce themes. We like the theme for anything from fashion stores to sporting goods shops. The responsive design allows for selling on mobile devices, and the translation features ensure that you can expand to other countries around the world. The wishlist support is something you would generally not see on a free theme, helping out customers who want to save products for later.
Some of the other features include the right and left sidebars, both of which combine nicely with widgets. The custom background adjusts depending on the type of branding you would like to display. Furthermore, it has an informational top bar to display details on new products and promotions. The featured images show up beautifully from your blog, and the three column format ensures that all of your product previews are displayed in a clear and professional manner. Not only that, but you receive custom menus, a flexible header, and a footer area that supports all types of widgets.
Mesocolumn
Next up we have the fantastically distinct, magazine-style theme, Mesocolumn. The theme has an impressive number of features, including a boxed image slider and large featured images for each category. There are also loads of widget areas, with a ridiculous number of custom widgets for a free theme — social sharing buttons, Flickr photo galleries, featured posts, custom sidebars, and latest comments.
As well as this, there's also plenty of scope to customize your page. You can set your background color, top navigation color, and main color scheme from a choice of unlimited colors. There are two main menu areas, with the second allowing you to add custom colors to each category to create beautiful, multi-colored menus. There's even a choice of hundreds of Google fonts, giving you the option to add custom typography to every area of the page — it's rare to see this amount of flexibility from a free theme. The theme works well alongside the WooCommerce plugin, allowing you to add eCommerce functionality to your website. Mesocolumn comes with beautiful product gallery and product page templates, too. A fully responsive theme, if you want something a little bit different, go with Mesocolumn.
eSell
eSell is an impressive free WordPress theme that was developed to be tightly integrated with two highly popular WordPress plugins: WooCommerce and bbPress. This means you can add eCommerce and forum functionality to your website with ease.
The theme uses an eye-catching magazine-style design, which means it's perfect for publishing lots of content alongside your online shop. The theme is also Google AdSense compatible, giving you a variety of ways to monetize your website. The theme is really easy to work with, plus it's optimized for SEO and speed. It's worth pointing out that the free version of this theme is not responsive, which will rule it out for some of you.
Market
Market is a beautiful, minimalist WordPress theme, designed specifically for use by eCommerce stores. The minimalist design is beautifully complemented with loads of images and gorgeous CSS3 animations. For a start, the homepage features a stylish image slider, complete with eye-catching transition effects. The theme supports a blog, too, with your contents' featured images displayed prominently on the homepage — there's also a fun hover effect.
The theme lets you add stylish product gallery and product pages to your website, complete with custom widget space courtesy of the sidebar. You can add your latest posts to the sidebar, or even your most popular products to boost click through and conversions. As well as this, you can add two separate menus to the header area, as well as displaying a variety of bright, colorful social sharing buttons — Market supports up to nine social networks. A really elegant, stylish theme, Market is ideal for anyone looking to launch an online shop, regardless of your niche.
Seller
Now I must admit, I'm a huge fan of the Seller theme, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to launch an eCommerce shop. The theme is fully compatible with WooCommerce, allowing you to build a beautiful, fully-functional store. The Seller theme — like its predecessor, the Market theme, just above — uses a stunning, minimal design, but also manages to incorporate a lot of images. You can add a stylish full-width image gallery to your homepage, as well as displaying a range of featured images in beautiful, multi-column grids.
The theme supports a good amount of widget areas, including a sidebar and four-column footer. You can add custom widgets to these spaces, giving your website the functionality you need to maximize sales. There's also a variety of layouts, a showcase area, and you can add your contact details and social sharing buttons to the header bar. If you want your store to look great on devices of all sizes, you'll be pleased to hear that Seller is fully responsive, too.
Responsive
How does more sales for your eCommerce store sound? Pretty good, am I right? Responsive is a simply-yet-effective WordPress theme, allowing you to display your call to actions loud and proud. This fantastic free theme comes with a variety of call to action elements, helping you push your conversion rate to the maximum. For a start, there's beautiful CSS buttons, which you can build in a variety of colors and sizes. Then there's the CSS info boxes, allowing you to display bright, powerful messages to your visitors — for example, letting them know about a promotion you're running.
Beyond the call to actions, Responsive boasts loads more impressive features. As the name indicates, the theme is fully responsive, plus it comes with a variety of layout options. This includes four menu positions, nine page templates (with a variety of layout options for each), and 11 custom widget areas. As an added bonus, the theme also supports a slick set of social sharing buttons, which you can display in the footer section of your website. A really great theme, Responsive is fully compatible with WooCommerce.
Highwind
Wow, Highwind is just stunning, with a beautiful elegance and lovely soft tones. It's a simple, lightweight theme, built without all the bells-and-whistles you see in many of the other themes in today's list. However, this is not to Highwind's detriment, as the theme looks simply gorgeous. Without that excessive list of features, Highwind is really easy to work with, and provides the perfect platform for your content to do the talking.
Highwind supports just enough customization options to avoid feeling restrictive, though. You can set your site's colors and background and header images to infuse your own personal flair onto your website. There is also plenty of widget space, allowing you to add the extra functionality your website needs. Highwind is fully responsive, 100% compatible with WooCommerce, and also supports its own child theme, Clear Tranquil.
WooShop Lite
Next up we have another dedicated eCommerce theme: WooShop Lite. As the name implies, the theme works beautifully well with WooCommerce, allowing you to build stylish, fully functional eCommerce stores. You can add striking image galleries to your homepage, as well as a featured products gallery — perfect for displaying your best-selling products prominently on the homepage to further boost click through. You can also add promotional banners to your homepage as easily as pasting a simple shortcode.
Although the demo utilizes a predominantly blue color scheme, WooShop Lite does allow you to customize the background, letting you add your own branding to your site. There's stylish, greyscale social sharing buttons, too, which means you won't need to add another plugin to your site — too many plugins can really slow your website down. WooShop Lite is an exceptionally well coded theme: it's super-quick, fully responsive, and cross-browser compatible. A highly recommended theme.
Storefront
Committed to building an eCommerce store using WooCommerce? Then it makes sense to pick a theme that integrates tightly with the uber-popular eCommerce plugin. For that, nothing can beat a theme built by WooCommerce developer WooThemes, who have created a number of high-quality themes for this very purpose — including the next item on our list, Storefront.
WooThemes have created a truly excellent, lightweight theme. An eCommerce store's conversion rate is heavily impacted by load times, so Storefront is completely bloat-free. This means there are no unnecessary shortcodes, sliders, or page-builder plugins bundled in with the theme — though if you want this functionality, you can install a plugin for it from a recommended list. The theme itself looks gorgeous, with a stunning full-width parallax image on the homepage, as well as product category thumbnails, and stunning product galleries. To build a recognizable ‘brand' for your store, Storefront allows you to change the color scheme for key areas of the page, with a choice of unlimited colors. The theme is coded to the highest possible standards and is fully responsive, too.
Terrifico
Now onto Terrifico, a beautiful, stylish, multi-purpose WordPress theme that can be fully integrated with WooCommerce for eCommerce functionality. The theme, while versatile, has an aura of professionalism around it, which I think suits the needs of a corporate website best. Terrifico allows you to add two separate slider styles to your homepage: a full-width image slider at the top, or a slider displaying your latest blog posts further down. It's also a newbie-friendly theme to work with, with an intuitive options panel allowing you to switch between boxed/full-width layout, unlimited colors, and top/bottom margin widths.

The theme is put together really well, too. It uses responsive design so it displays properly on all devices, it's cross-browser compatible, and it's fully translation-ready. Terrifico supports a variety of custom widgets so you can add extra functions to your website, including up to ten stylish social sharing buttons.
i-Transform
Next up we have the super-flexible, professional-looking i-Transform theme. The theme offers plenty of awesome functionality right out-the-box. This includes unlimited sliders, a portfolio gallery, services, and customer testimonials. In my opinion, all this extra functionality makes it a great all-rounder theme that would reall suit a business website. The theme is content-centric, with the homepage dominated by various blog post snippets and thumbnails — displayed both vertically and horizontally. If you'd like to bolt an online store onto your website, i-Transform works beautifully with WooCommerce.
Already a beautiful, clean theme, i-Transform also comes with a good depth of customization options, all available at the click of a button. This includes boxed/full-width layout, five background textures, and five pre-built color schemes. A powerful theme with buckets of potential, i-Transform is well worth a try.
discover

discover is a lovely, clean WordPress theme utilizing a stylish orange and white color scheme. It's a relatively slimmed down theme, but in my opinion that makes the design far more effective. The homepage includes a stylish image slider (complete with beautiful, eye-catching animations), boxed elements, and call-to-action buttons. The content pages also include a sidebar area, which you can use to add extra functionality as you see fit via custom widgets.
The theme is also compatible with a number of popular plugins/services, including WooCommerce and Gravatar — to further enhance the discussions in your comment section, the theme supports threaded comments, too. A well coded theme, discover is fully responsive and cross-browser compatible.

Shopping
The next theme in today's collection is yet another eCommerce-dedicated theme: Shopping. Shopping — a child of the free Omega theme — is all about the products. The homepage is dominated with thumbnails of your products, and you can add specialist eCommerce widgets to your site — for example, popular products and recently reviewed products.
The theme, while simple, looks really stylish with the purple header bar and lots of white space. The product pages allow you to display your images and you can cross-promote products thanks to a related products section. Shopping would suit any small online store that wanted a simple theme without all the bells-and-whistles. The theme is responsive, but will require you to install WooCommerce to get the most from it.
Fruitful
With its clean, modern design, Fruitful is definitely one of my favorite themes featured on today's list. Looks can be deceptive, though: despite Fruitful's relatively simple, minimal design, it's actually a rather powerful theme. The theme can reel off a long list of features: two image sliders, custom background image, custom background colors, menu styling, 20+ Google fonts, two layouts, and built-in social media sharing buttons. That gives you a lot of flexibility to work with, making it a really great platform for building a branded eCommerce store.
Fruitful also supports an in-depth but intuitive control panel, allowing you to configure your website to your liking with ease. The theme is responsive, cross-browser compatible, translation ready, and, of course, is fully compatible with WooCommerce. A truly excellent free theme, Fruitful comes highly recommended by me.
Customizr
As we reach the end of today's list, I've saved this little gem for last. Undoubtedly one of the most impressive free themes I've even seen, Customizr was built using a very well-defined set of design principles. The execution is flawless, and this has made this theme insanely popular — to date there have been just shy of a million downloads. Without doubt, Customizr's main selling point is (as the name alludes to) customization. An intuitive live builder lets you preview any changes on a live version of your website, so there are no surprises when you click Save.

The customization options come thick and fast: the theme comes with a choice of unlimited colors; gorgeous, striking typography; six layouts (including a double sidebar, allowing you to add loads of custom widgets); and two image slider styles. One of the slider options allow you to overlay compelling call to actions over your images, making it a great way for eCommerce stores to boost conversion rates. If that wasn't enough, the homepage lets you add stunning, chunky thumbnails linking to your content, including gorgeous animation effects, and comes bundled with out-the-box social media icons. The theme can be tightly integrated with two of the most popular WordPress plugins, too: WooCommerce for eCommerce functionality, and bbPress for forum functionality. A truly exceptional theme!
